Overview 

The LJ12A3-4-Z/BX is a high-performance, cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensor. It is specifically designed to detect metallic objects (primarily iron and steel). When a metal object enters its sensing zone, the internal oscillator is dampened, triggering the NPN transistor to “sink” the output to ground. Its M12 threaded body and dual-nut design make it incredibly easy to mount on 3D printer carriages, CNC frames, or conveyor belts.
