Overview
The Mach3 5-Axis Breakout Board (ST-V2) is a high-performance interface designed specifically for the popular Mach3 CNC control software. It acts as the central hub of your CNC system, receiving signals from your computer’s parallel port (LPT) and distributing them to up to five stepper motor drivers (X, Y, Z, A, and B axes). With built-in optocoupler isolation, it protects your expensive PC from electrical surges and noise coming from the high-power motor drivers.
Key Features
5-Axis Support: Fully compatible with 5-axis setups, allowing for complex 3D milling and rotary axis attachments.
Optocoupler Isolation: Provides a dedicated hardware barrier to prevent feedback and interference from reaching your computer.
Spindle Control: Features a 0-10V analog output to control spindle speed via a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive).
Relay Output Port: Easily control auxiliary devices like water pumps, dust collectors, or cooling fans directly through Mach3 software.
Limit Switch Support: Dedicated inputs for E-Stop, X/Y/Z limit switches, and Tool Auto-Zero probes.

Why Choose Mach3 Hardware?
Reliability: Unlike USB-to-Serial solutions which can lag, the parallel port interface provides real-time, jitter-free pulses to your motors.
Safety: The E-Stop integration ensures your machine stops instantly in case of an emergency.
Scalability: Perfect for everything from a small PCB mill to a large-scale wood-carving CNC.
