Overview
The TEC1-12705 is a high-quality thermoelectric module designed for reliable, long-term cooling. It consists of 127 semiconductor couples sandwiched between high-performance ceramic plates. By drawing 5 Amperes, it provides a solid cooling capacity (approx. 45W-50W) while remaining significantly easier to keep stable than higher-current models. This is the standard replacement module for many commercial desktop water dispensers and small cosmetic fridges.
Key Features
Optimized Power Draw: At 5A, it is perfectly matched for standard 12V 5A power adapters, ensuring your power supply doesn’t overheat.
Rapid Cooling: Capable of creating a temperature difference of up to 65°C between the hot and cold sides in seconds.
Quiet & Solid-State: No moving parts, no vibration, and zero noise—perfect for bedroom or office gadgets.
Compact & Universal: The standard 40 \times 40 mm footprint ensures it fits into almost any existing Peltier cooling assembly or heatsink kit.
Durable Construction: Built with Alumina (Al_2O_3) ceramic plates for maximum thermal transfer and electrical insulation.
