Overview
The TEC1-12707 is a solid-state active heat pump that transfers heat from one side of the device to the other against a temperature gradient. With a maximum current capacity of 7 Amperes, it offers significantly more thermal “pumping” power than standard modules. It is ideal for projects where the 12706 falls just a bit short, such as larger medical coolers, specialized laboratory equipment, or DIY air conditioning units for small enclosures.
Key Features
Increased Cooling Capacity: 7A rating provides faster pull-down times and lower minimum temperatures compared to 5A/6A models.
No Moving Parts: Operates silently and without vibration, ensuring a long life cycle in stationary projects.
Dual Cooling/Heating: Instantly switch between ice-cold and bone-dry heat by simply reversing the DC power polarity.
Standard 40mm Size: Fits into any mount or heatsink designed for the TEC1-12706, making it an easy “drop-in” upgrade.
Ceramic Construction: Features high-quality Alumina ceramic plates for excellent electrical insulation and thermal conductivity.
