Overview
The TEC1-12715 Peltier Module is a high-performance thermoelectric ceramic plate that creates a massive temperature difference between its two sides using the Peltier effect. With a 15-Ampere rating, this module offers nearly double the thermal transfer capacity of standard hobbyist modules. It is a solid-state device, meaning there are no moving parts, no gases, and no vibration—making it ideal for precision cooling in lab equipment, high-end DIY electronics, and portable refrigeration.
Key Features
Exceptional Cooling Power: Rated for 136 Watts (Qcmax), making it one of the most powerful single-stage Peltier modules available.
Solid-State Reliability: Long lifespan with no mechanical wear and tear.
Instant Chill: Reaches sub-zero temperatures on the cold side within seconds when properly heatsinked.
Precise Control: Temperature can be accurately regulated by adjusting the input voltage or using a PWM controller.

Installation Checklist
Identify Sides: The side with the model number printed on it is the Cold Side. The blank side is the Hot Side.
Apply Thermal Paste: A thin, even layer of high-quality thermal grease is required on both sides.
Heatsink First: NEVER power this module for more than 2 seconds without a massive heatsink on the hot side. It will overheat and burn out instantly.
