Overview
The BFD-1000 is an incredibly versatile, highly integrated sensor array designed specifically for advanced line-following, maze-solving, and obstacle-avoiding robotic vehicles. Instead of mounting three separate sensor boards to your chassis, this single modular PCB handles all tracking, distance detection, and crash monitoring.
Equipped with five TCRT5000-style high-sensitivity infrared tracking pairs, it maps out black and white paths with extreme precision. At the front, an integrated infrared distance sensor detects walls ahead, while a clicky mechanical limit switch serves as a physical fail-safe bump sensor, allowing your robot to instantly react to collision impacts.

7-in-1 Sensory Solution: Features 5 downward tracking channels, 1 forward-facing IR distance channel, and 1 physical touch switch channel.
All-Digital Output: Every channel converts its readings to simple high/low digital signals (0 or 1), preventing code overhead and making it perfectly compatible with any microcontroller.
Onboard Adjustments: Features a built-in potentiometer to easily fine-tune the forward obstacle detection distance.
LED Status Indicators: Every single channel has its own dedicated SMD indicator LED, letting you visually debug the logic on the fly without looking at a serial monitor.
Wide Voltage Range: Operates natively between 3.0V and 5.5V, ensuring plug-and-play operation with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi platforms.

CL / CH1 / CH2 / CH3 / CR: The 5 line tracking channels ranging from Far Left (CL) to Far Right (CR) to calculate precise deviation angles.
NEAR: The digital output for the forward infrared obstacle distance detection sensor.
BUMP: The digital output for the front mechanical crash switch.
