Overview
The Female Header Single Row strip is a 40-pin socket designed for soldering onto PCBs and prototyping boards. With the industry-standard 2.54mm (0.1 inch) pitch, these headers act as the perfect receiving port for male headers, jumper wires, and component leads. They are vital for building “pluggable” systems where you might want to swap out an ESP32 or an LCD module without desoldering the entire board.
Key Features
Standard 2.54mm Pitch: Compatible with all standard breadboards, male headers, and DuPont connectors.
Low Profile & Stackable: Allows for a clean, compact design when mounting modules onto a mainboard.
Secure Connection: Internal spring contacts ensure a tight and reliable electrical connection, even under light vibration.
Easy to Trim: Can be cut down to smaller sizes (e.g., 2-pin, 8-pin, 16-pin) using a pair of side cutters.

Common Uses
Arduino Shields: The primary connector used to stack shields on top of an Arduino Uno or Mega.
Component Sockets: Creating a socket for OLED displays, Bluetooth modules (HC-05), or NRF24L01 transceivers.
Modular PCBs: Designing a mainboard where the brain (like a Pi Pico or Nano) can be removed or replaced easily.
Test Fixtures: Building rigs to test multiple sensors quickly.
