Overview
The S9012 is a silicon PNP bipolar junction transistor (BJT) housed in the standard TO-92 package. It is specifically designed for low-voltage, high-current applications. If you are building a circuit that needs to switch a load on the “high side” (positive side), the S9012 is a fantastic choice. It is commonly used as a complementary pair with the S9013 NPN transistor in Class B audio amplifiers and push-pull motor drivers.
