Overview
The TP4056 Micro USB Battery Charger is a complete constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger for single-cell lithium-ion batteries. This specific module includes the DW01A and 8205A protection ICs, which safeguard your battery against over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-current. Whether you are building a portable power bank, a solar-powered sensor, or a handheld toy, this module ensures your lithium battery stays healthy and safe.
Key Features
Dual Protection: Includes battery protection circuitry to prevent discharge below 2.4V and over-current scenarios.
Plug-and-Play: Features a standard Micro USB port for easy charging via any phone charger or PC port.
Status LEDs: Two onboard LEDs: Red for “Charging” and Blue/Green for “Fully Charged.”
Programmable Current: Default 1A charging rate (can be adjusted by changing the $R_{prog}$ resistor).
Compact Size: Small enough to be tucked away in the tightest of project enclosures.
