Overview
The Mechanical Endstop Switch Module is a critical component used for homing and axis limiting in desktop 3D printers, CNC routers, and laser engravers. Built around a highly reliable microswitch, this board features a built-in status indicator LED and filtering capacitors to prevent electrical noise from causing false triggers on your control board.
Unlike bare microswitches that require manual soldering and pull-up resistors, this module comes fully integrated on a small PCB with a standard 3-pin JST connector, making installation onto your RAMPS 1.4 or Makerbase board quick and error-free.
Key Features
Plug-and-Play Design: Features a customized 3-pin high-quality connection wire (typically 70cm long) that plugs directly into your RAMPS board.
Onboard LED Indicator: A clear visual aid that illuminates when the switch is depressed, making troubleshooting and bed leveling alignment much easier.
Noise Filtering: Integrated resistors and capacitors protect the signal line from EMI (electromagnetic interference) generated by nearby stepper motor cables.
Universal Firmware Support: Fully compatible with standard open-source firmware like Marlin, GRBL, and Repetier.

Wiring Guide for RAMPS 1.4Â
Red Wire: Connects to VCC (+5V)
Black Wire: Connects to GND (-)
Green/White Wire: Connects to SIGNAL (S)
Warning: Double-check your board configuration before powering on. Reversing VCC and GND on a RAMPS endstop header can short out your mega2560 board!
