Overview
The TM1637 Display Module is an affordable, easy-to-use 7-segment LED display that can show four digits and a center colon (:). Unlike raw 7-segment displays that require a mess of 12+ wires and multiplexing code, this module uses the TM1637 driver IC to handle all the heavy lifting. You only need two data pins (DIO and CLK) to control it, making it incredibly “pin-efficient” for small microcontrollers like the Arduino Nano or ATTINY85.
Key Features
2-Wire Control: Uses a simplified serial protocol (CLK, DIO) to save your GPIO pins.
Adjustable Brightness: The TM1637 chip allows you to set 8 levels of software-controlled brightness.
Built-in Clock Colon: Perfect for creating 24-hour clocks, stopwatches, or countdown timers.
Bright & Clear: The 0.36-inch red LEDs are highly visible even in well-lit rooms.
Breadboard Compatible: Comes with a 4-pin header for easy prototyping.
