Overview
The XL6009 Buck-Boost Module is a high-performance non-isolated DC-DC converter. It is unique because it can maintain a stable output voltage regardless of whether the input voltage is higher or lower than the target. For example, if you set the output to 12V, the module will provide 12V even if the input is 5V (Boost) or 24V (Buck). This “Auto Step-Up/Down” capability is essential for applications like solar charging, where sunlight intensity changes the input voltage throughout the day.
Key Features
Universal Conversion: Automatically switches between Buck (step-down) and Boost (step-up) modes.
High-Frequency Switching: Operates at 400KHz, allowing for a smaller board size and lower output ripple.
Wide Input Range: Works with any DC source from 3.8V to 32V.
Adjustable Output: Fine-tune your voltage from 1.25V to 35V using the on-board multi-turn potentiometer.
Built-in Protection: Features MOSFET protection and thermal shutdown for increased reliability.
