The 52mm Mecanum Wheel is a high-tech tire designed for the serious robotics hobbyist. While standard wheels only go forward and backward, a set of Mecanum wheels allows your robot to “strafe” sideways and move diagonally. These are engineered to fit directly onto the standard D-shaped shaft of Yellow TT Gear Motors, making them an easy “plug-and-play” upgrade for any Arduino or Raspberry Pi-based smart car chassis.
