74150 IC – 16-Input to 1-Output Digital Multiplexer (16:1 MUX) Data Selector

Overview

The 74150 is a high-performance 16-line to 1-line data selector/multiplexer. It features 16 individual data inputs (E0 to E15), four binary address lines (A, B, C, D), and an active-low Strobe (G) input. When the strobe is LOW, the chip selects one of the 16 inputs based on the binary code on the address lines and sends that signal to the output. Note: The 74150 provides an inverted output (the output is the complement of the selected data).
