Overview
The MT3608 Boost Converter is the tiny secret behind every portable electronic project. It solves the most common problem in robotics: “How do I power a 5V Arduino or a 12V motor using a single 3.7V Lithium battery?” By “boosting” the voltage through high-frequency switching, this module gives you the exact power you need without the bulk of multiple batteries.
Key Features
The “Micro” Advantage: Smaller than a standard AA battery, it fits inside 3D-printed cases and compact robots.
Wide Voltage Range: Input as low as 2V and output as high as 28V.
Precision Control: The 25-turn potentiometer allows you to dial in your voltage to within 0.1V of your target.
High-Speed Switching: 1.2MHz frequency ensures a stable output with minimal electrical “noise”—great for sensitive sensors.

Makers’ Troubleshooting Guide
Problem: “I turned the knob but the voltage stays the same!”
Solution: This is normal! The MT3608 uses a multi-turn pot. Turn the brass screw Counter-Clockwise at least 15–20 full circles. You will eventually hear a tiny ‘click’ or see the voltage start to rise on your multimeter.
Rule of Thumb: Your Output Voltage MUST be at least 2V higher than your Input Voltage for the module to regulate correctly.
