Overview

The TCRT5000 Line Following Sensor is an infrared reflective module that packs an IR transmitter and an IR receiver into one compact unit. It works on the principle of light reflection: when the IR light hits a white surface, it reflects back to the receiver; when it hits a black line, the light is absorbed. This module features an LM393 voltage comparator chip, providing a clean digital signal that your Arduino or ESP32 can read instantly.
