Overview
The IR2110 is a high-voltage, high-speed power MOSFET and IGBT driver with independent high- and low-side referenced output channels. It is famously used in “Bootstrap” circuits to drive N-channel MOSFETs on the high side of an H-bridge. With its ability to handle up to 500V on the floating channel and deliver a massive 2A peak current, it ensures your transistors switch cleanly and stay cool by minimising switching losses.
Key Features
Dual Channel: Independent High-Side and Low-Side referenced channels in one chip.
Floating Channel Design: Engineered for bootstrap operation, allowing it to handle up to +500V.
High-Speed Switching: Optimized for high-frequency PWM applications like Class-D amps and SMPS.
Wide Logic Compatibility: Logic inputs are compatible with standard CMOS or LSTTL outputs, down to 3.3V logic.
Under-Voltage Lockout: Built-in protection ensures the IC won’t try to drive your MOSFETs if the supply voltage is too low to do it safely.
