Servo Motor Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) – High-Precision AC Stabilizer

Overview

The Servo Motor Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) utilizes a motorized variable autotransformer (variac) coupled with a control circuit and a servo motor. When grid voltage fluctuates, the motor automatically adjusts the carbon brush position along the transformer winding to instantly correct the output voltage back to a stable 220V/230V level, protecting expensive equipment from brownouts and overvoltage spikes.

Key Features

  • High Output Precision: Delivers stable, tightly regulated voltage compared to standard relay-type stabilizers.

  • Motor-Driven Adjustment: Uses a responsive servo motor mechanism for smooth and continuous voltage correction.

  • Wide Input Range: Automatically steps up low voltage and steps down high voltage from unstable utility grids.

  • Comprehensive Protection: Built-in safeguards against short-circuits, output over-voltage, and thermal overload.
