Overview
The NUCLEO-F103RB is a highly affordable and flexible way for users to try out new concepts and build prototypes with the STM32F103RBT6 microcontroller. Unlike basic development boards, the Nucleo series comes with an on-board ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger/programmer, meaning you only need a single Mini-USB cable to power, program, and debug your code. It is also mbed-enabled, giving you access to a massive cloud-based ecosystem of libraries and community support.
Key Features
Dual Header Support: Features Arduino Uno V3 connectivity headers for using standard shields and ST Morpho headers for full access to all 64 GPIOs.
Integrated Debugger: No need for an external ST-LINK! The board includes everything you need for “Step-through” debugging in real-time.
Flexible Power: Can be powered via USB or an external VIN/E5V source ($7V \text{ to } 12V$).
User-Friendly IO: Includes a user-programmable LED and a dedicated blue “User” button for quick testing.
Comprehensive Software Support: Fully compatible with STM32CubeIDE, Keil MDK, IAR, and ARM mbed online compiler.
