Overview
The 0.7-inch Single Digit 7-Segment Common Cathode LED Display is a bright, clear numeric readout module designed for digital displays, counter circuits, and instrument panels. Because it uses a Common Cathode (CC) internal wiring setup, the shared pins (Pins 3 and 8) connect directly to your circuit’s Ground (GND). Individual segments (a through g) are illuminated by sending a HIGH logic signal from your microcontroller, making it highly compatible with standard source-current shifting ICs like the 74HC595.
Key Features
Intuitive Common Cathode Wiring: Shared ground pins mean you turn segments ON using standard HIGH logic signals.
Large 0.7-Inch Character Height: Offers a clear, high-contrast numeric display that is easy to read from a distance.
Low Power Consumption: Efficient red LEDs deliver stable brightness with minimal current draw.
Breadboard Standard: Features a 10-pin Dual In-line Package (DIP) layout that plugs cleanly into breadboards and prototyping matrix boards.
Seamless Modular Layout: Can be stacked horizontally to create custom multi-digit display arrays.

Pin Identification Quick-Guide
Common Pins (Pins 3 and 8): Connect directly to your circuit’s Ground (GND).
Segment Pins (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, DP): Connect to your microcontroller’s digital output pins via current-limiting resistors. Pull HIGH to turn a segment ON.
