Overview
The 0.56-inch 3-Digit 7-Segment LED Display is a raw multiplexed display module designed for embedded systems, panel meters, and student electronic projects. In this Common Anode (CA) configuration, each of the three digits features its own independent power pin ($V_{CC}$), while the corresponding segment pins (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, and DP) are physically tied together in parallel across all digits. By cycling power to Digit 1, Digit 2, and Digit 3 sequentially in your code, you can easily display any three-digit value using only 11 pins instead of 24.
Key Features
Streamlined 3-Digit Design: Keeps your project compact by replacing three separate single-digit units into a single structural block.
Common Anode Layout: Turn individual segments ON by pulling the shared segment pins LOW while selectively applying power to the desired digit pin.
Crisp Red Illumination: High-contrast segments offer uniform brightness under standard laboratory workbench lighting.
Decimal Points on All Digits: Features individual decimal points for each of the three digits, making it ideal for displaying floating-point sensor data (e.g., 24.5°C).
Breadboard & PCB Compatible: Standard dual-in-line pin configuration plugs securely into breadboards, stripboards, and custom PCBs.

How the Multiplexing Connection Works
3 Pins act as the dedicated Common Anode power inputs for Digit 1, Digit 2, and Digit 3.
8 Pins control the individual LED segments (a through g + DP) which are shared between all the digits.
