Overview
The 0.56-inch 2-Digit 7-Segment LED Display is a raw electronic component designed for direct integration into microcontrollers, industrial control panels, and digital instrumentation. In this Common Anode (CA) configuration, each of the two digits has its own independent power pin (V_CC), while the corresponding segment pins (a through g + DP) are shared between both digits. By cycling power to Digit 1 and Digit 2 sequentially at a high frequency (multiplexing), you can display any two-digit value using minimal GPIO pins.
Key Features
Integrated 2-Digit Design: Replaces two single displays, saving valuable PCB space and reducing wiring complexity.
Common Anode Configuration: Turn segments ON by pulling the shared segment pins LOW while providing power to the respective digit pin.
Crisp Red Illumination: High-contrast segments ensure high readability in standard indoor workshop environments.
Standard 10-Pin Layout: Clean, dual-in-line configuration that fits perfectly onto standard breadboards or prototype matrix boards.
Decimal Points Built-In: Includes standalone right-side decimal points for each digit, allowing for fractional readouts or status dots.

How the 10-Pin Multiplexing Works
2 Pins act as the dedicated Common Anode power inputs for Digit 1 and Digit 2.
8 Pins control the segments (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, DP) which are physically wired in parallel between both digits.
