Overview

The ESP-07 is a highly integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g/n module based on the famous ESP8266 SoC. What makes the ESP-07 a favorite for industrial and outdoor projects is its flexibility. It comes encased in a metal shield to reduce EMI (interference) and offers a dual-antenna option. Use the built-in ceramic antenna for compact builds, or snap on a high-gain external antenna to punch through walls and distance.

Key Features

  • Dual Antenna Support: Includes an onboard ceramic antenna and a U.FL (IPEX) connector for high-gain external antennas.

  • Shielded Design: The metal casing protects the internal circuitry from noise, making it more stable for industrial environments.

  • Full Stack: Integrated TCP/IP protocol stack—no need for a separate controller to handle the heavy lifting of WiFi.

  • Low Power Consumption: Advanced power-management technology for battery-operated remote sensors.

  • UART Serial Interface: Simple AT commands or direct programming via Arduino IDE, NodeMCU, or MicroPython.
